Miss Diamond Ireland – Clodagh

My name is Clódagh, I’m 22 and from West Belfast. I’m the current Miss Diamond Ireland, and my platform is rooted in my passion for the Irish language, which has shaped so much of who I am today. I work in an Irish speaking day care, where I get to encourage young girls every day to be confident in themselves, their voice, and their identity.The Irish language is the reason I’ve been given so many opportunities, including this title, and it’s something I’m incredibly proud of. Through my journey, I want to show others, especially young girls from my community, what’s possible when you embrace who you are and where you come from.
