Junior Teen Diamond UK – Lucy

Hi everybody, My name is Lucy McCandless. I am 15 years old and I am from Banbridge,Northern Ireland. I am currently in my 4th year of high school,studying business, Spanish and double award science. I have been doing pageants for 3 years now and I have spent 2 of those brilliant years with the diamond system and it has been a blast. A big part of pageants for me has been my platform, Beyond the flares-Beauty Beyond Allergies, raising awareness for allergy flareups as they are something that is not talked about often but happens more than you would think. These flare ups can be mentally and physically draining, but I refuse to let that stop me and I want to make sure it does not stop others from doing what they love!!One thing I stand by is that “your life is not yours if you always care what others think”, so always be you because the reality of it is, everybody is different and that is what makes life so beautiful !!
